David Browning’s Solo EP ‘Now You See Me’ Brings a Fresh Approach to Pop Music

By SHARON JENNINGS

David Browning’s new solo EP Now You See Me is like an afternoon at a winery: It gives a taste of what’s good without losing control.

David’s latest work is a 3-song EP that’s emotionally satisfying and indicates that more good music is on the way. The electronic-pop collection is a journey along a long-hidden road only to discover there are other wanderers with similar interests along the way.

How people arrive at their chosen path in music is always something to consider when the headphones are on. But it appears the Canadian-born David’s experiences traveling around the world have had a great impact on his creativity. And though on his routes he may move in exotic locations, the emotions and experiences are universally known.

David writes about love and the challenges the all-encompassing emotion presents.

Living Life to the Fullest Emotionally

“Always Inside” has the tone of a romantic ballad that is capable of cutting through genres and taking its place with other modern love songs.

“Stay Over,” illustrates the desirous side of the human condition, handled delicately and with a great beat. “Stay Over” is a solid pop tune in the fashion of Kim Wilde or Lisa Stansfield and conjures up images of dancehall days only with a modern twist.
