Forged in the backyards and basements of the Bronx, Red Sun Radio is a New York City-based band that blurs the lines between alternative and Americana influences. The band is gearing up to release their debut album later this year, and we are lucky enough to premiere their second single “Juliet(te)” today on GroundSounds!

The track was mixed and mastered by Grammy award-winning engineer Jeremy Loucas (Diane Reeves, Esperanza Spalding) and Sam Lazarev. The song’s vibe instantly draws you in, harkening alternative rock’s glory days – and chances are that hook will be in your head all day. Enjoy!

In their own words:

“This one’s about building a new lover up into something you thought they would be, and inevitably placing the blame on yourself for having created such a grand image of someone who couldn’t live up to those expectations.”
