Air Apparent is Indian-American producer Neil Sethi based out of San Francisco. An Atlanta, Georgia native, he started making music at an early age playing piano, singing in small vocal performances at church, and playing in an orchestra.

In college, he DJ’d at a radio station, and after a couple of years began to make sample-based music inspired by J Dilla, Ta-Ku, Kanye West, et al.

His first EP Imaginary was released on August 24th, 2018, followed up with two new singles “Your Love” in November, and “Tokyo (feat. Julia Ross)” in December, and “Asking You” in March 2019.

Today we’re excited to premiere the new track “Do I Forget” – streaming below! It’s smooth, slick, and shows major songwriting chops. It’s time to add Air Apparent to the list of great artists like Lauv or Troye Sivan.

In his own words:

“Do I Forget” is a song about the dilemma of whether to try and move on while a relationship falls apart. It’s very personal to me, and the first song I top-lined. It’s about a situation I went through, and writing the song was therapeutic to me. Sonically, I wanted it to capture an emotional performance, a modern production approach (with hip-hop oriented programmed drums) and some of my favorite synth sounds.
