Shauvik Sharan grew up in Pune, India and moved to Los Angeles five years ago to pursue a career in music. He worked as an assistant engineer while honing in his craft as an artist and eventually started DJing in the LA scene where his alter ego Flyght Club was born. The name is based on a concept where anybody who is trying to rise, achieve their goals and is giving everything they’ve got in order to get that is part of the “flyght club.”

We are excited to premiere the new track “Lead Me On” featuring JordyGotIt – streaming below! The song was written while Sharan was working as an engineer at Jason Derulo’s Future History Studios and was composed and recorded in between sessions. The track is SMOOTH. Top notch songwriting, crisp production, and addicting vocals you’ll be singing along to all day.

In his own words:

“Lead Me On as a song talks about mixed signals. It’s about how a girl had me hooked… I knew she had no intentions of ever being with me and was just playing me but I still kept hanging on to any hope that I had of ever being together as I was in love and so I sing in the song asking her to not lead me on as its destroying me. The song was created when I was working as an assistant engineer at Jason Derulo’s Future History Studios. I freestyled the hook and we built a song around it. Jordy then came in and added his verse to the song and the song was ready in about 3 hours. It was one of those songs where every contributor knew what they had to add to make the song as good as it is.”
