Dirty Sole is a dynamic indie electronic group formed in 2001. Hailing from the musical epicenter of Chicago, the duo has been heavily influenced by the underground house movement that was born in the Windy City. Since their inception, the duo has seen multiple chart placements alongside Basement Jazz & Roni Size, in addition to leveraging their forward-thinking sound with major commercial brands like Toyota & Nike.

Most recently, the pair has unveiled a string of new releases that feature their unique blend of house, funk and techno, including their sophomore album, FWD Motion. Today we’re excited to premiere the new video for the infectious “Lift Me Up” – streaming below! The video is quick to showcase chill, summertime vibes – the perfect pairing with the feel good vibes of the song. Impossible not to dance to this one…turn it up loud and enjoy!

In their own words:

“If it’s not obvious, the most precise song that influenced this record is “Get Lucky”
by Daft Punk. We have endless love and admiration for Thomas and Guy, and
vividly remember dancing front row at their live set at Even Further (techno
campout) in 1996. Additionally, the Roulé Records label that Thomas ran for
years was also a huge influence in our development, not only as DJ’s, but also
as music producers over the last several decades. This song is a perfect
representation of how we’re pushing the envelope and constantly trying to re-
invent ourselves. Even though we try to get away from being pigeon-holed into a
certain type of electronic artist, we will always be house heads at our core.

The video is the main outlet for our vision. We believe that in today’s climate, a
true multimedia experience is the best way to communicate our vision with our
audience. Music without the imagery leaves a listener open to their own
interpretation, whereas watching and listening provides an element of guidance
that fulfills all aspects of the vision.”
